The Philadelphia Inquirer has a weekly section published on Thursdays titled "Tech.Life" in which I have found a lot of information over the years. One column, tech.k12, is for educators and librarians. The writer, Joyce Kasman Valenza, is the librarian at Springfield High School in Erdenheim, PA.
The link below is to her column dated 8/31/00 and is titled, "Two gateway sites help teachers retrieve just what they need". There are a lot more than two sites listed! http://web.philly.com/content/inquirer/2000/08/31/tech_life/SKUL31.htm
Previous tech.k12 columns are available at http://crossings.philly.com/archive/k12.htm
